Senior QA Engineer, Mobile

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our team. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Mobile Apps. You will be part of a cross-functional Product team, collaborating closely with Developers, Designers, and Product Managers to ensure high-quality outcomes. Additionally, as a member of the QA team, you will contribute to defining and refining shared processes and best practices. You will also support other QA team members with their work, while benefiting from the same collaborative support in return.

Main tasks & responsibilities:

• Assist in testing product features at all stages of development to ensure quality and functionality.
• Perform release testing for our mobile app on both Android and iOS platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate closely with developers to plan and execute testing strategies, identifying and resolving issues early in the development cycle.
• Work with Designers and Product Managers to review features and provide critical feedback for improving product design and usability.
• Support the QA team in keeping test documentation updated and maintaining a healthy, efficient test suite.

About you:

• You are experienced with manual testing of mobile applications, in both Android and iOS.
• You have experience with REST API testing and a solid understanding of how applications communicate with servers.
• You are familiar with performing release testing in an agile environment with a constant release lifecycle.
• You value good user experience.
• You enjoy collaborating closely with software engineers and you don't shy away from taking ownership of different tasks and supporting other teams.
