Director, Process Engineering – Sustainable Lithium Recovery

Re-Volt Metals, Inc., a pioneering sustainable lithium recovery and is looking for an expereinces process engineering with expertise in electrochemistry, advanced (electro-) and membrane separationt echnologies to assist us in the development of our first processing pilot line.

At Re-Volt Metals, we harness cutting-edge electrocemistry with our proprietary electro-membrane separation process for the direct recovery of lithium and other metals, focusing on batteries, geotehrmal brines and other lithium and metal rich streams. We invite you to bring your expertise to the table, contributing to the development and commercialization of innovative processes that drive a closed-loop, environmentally conscious valuable metal recovery system. Re-Volt will be focused on developing for commercialization its technolgoies direclty and plans to build a facility fo such separation.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading material processing, engineering management and process line desgin and execution. He/she will also be responsible for building of an engineering teams to complete ourdevelopment. Since Re-Volt will be deploying its process technology, the successful candidate should preferably have experience in one of more of our primary markets of interest such as batteries, separation/minerals processing, andmembrane technologies. Please note that the Company is in the process of fundraising and the position will become a paid position after the close of pre-seed funding or once interim funding is available.

Responsibilities of the Role
• Lead the overall existing and new design, engineering, process design, and future developments.
• Adaptability to work with new innovative technologies and offer innovative appraoches to engineeering of the applications at hand.
• Ability to form, manage, direct and build team of engineers to execute the above.

Required Skills
• A creative and innovative hardware engineering manager, who is willing to lead and direct Re-Volt’s engineering and manufacturing
• Experience building, growing and launching hardware and software products in industrial technology segments noted above
• Bachelor’s in mechanical or chemical engineering, or similar; Master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years in hardware and software platforms and commercialization of the product in industrial markets • Entrepreneurial mindset
