Hi - I’m Anant, CEO of Guided Energy. I’m a Cambridge & MIT engineer living in Paris. I’ve helped thousands of fleets reduce their emissions but cofounded Guided when I met Eric and saw there was an opportunity to scale my impact:

  • Fleets need to transition 90m vehicles to electric by 2030 - a mix of regulation and incentives are pushing them. But on the ground, things break down. Fleets are unprepared to deal with fluctuating grids, nonlinear batteries and all of the new complexity that comes with electrification
  • Guided is re-designing how commercial fleets consume energy, starting with an optimisation platform that enables fleet managers and drivers access the best electricity to hit their routes.
  • Having launched in 2023, we are growing fast — we work with some of the most known fleets and have connected ~1,000 EVs to date, with contracts to triple that in the coming months

Backed by Sequoia, we are racing to rebuild this broken, trillion dollar fleet energy market from the ground up.

The role

You will be the first sales hire and play a key part of the founding team, building our sales function from the ground up.

This will include:

  • Build top of funnel pipeline generation and provide analysis each month towards goal
  • Build and execute on outbound prospecting campaigns across our various segment personas
  • Create playbooks that will lay the foundation for our sales growth
  • Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts through ABM methodology
  • Measure results and analyze performance to continue to optimize our prospecting
  • Act as the subject matter expert on the Guided platform
  • Identifying and developing key channel and tech partnerships
  • Building out our support and success processes / functions
  • Defining, testing and executing on a marketing strategy

As we scale our team, this is expected to become a management / leadership role.

Requirements

We are building from the ground up, which means that you will be immersed in everything alongside the founders. You will need to both be strategic, balancing the vision with getting your hands dirty.

  • 2-3 years of Business Development or Sales Development work experience in SaaS or Technology- Supply chain logistics, strongly preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Fearlessness - willing to directly reach out to new people every single day
  • Entrepreneurialism - a passion to build from the ground up
  • Comfortable with technical topics (understanding of AI is a plus)
