Front End Development Intern

Company Context:
We are a music platform aimed at lowering the barriers to entry for music creation, allowing anyone to create music regardless of their background! We do this by leveraging generative AI models that help augment the artist creation journey.

Role Context:
We're assembling a team of 2-3 front end developers to help us develop our UI and product offerings. Eventually we want to hire these individuals full time once we begin generating revenue!

Our stack:
We have a typescript front end, with tailwind CSS.

Qualifications:

0-1 years of experience in front-end development
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.)
Experience working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
Familiarity with version control tools (such as Git)
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Experience working in large codebases and with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

In progress of a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
Experience with responsive and adaptive design
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Experience with performance and efficiency optimization

Compensation:
This is an unpaid internship, for now.
