Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Join our team of passionate researchers and engineers from CMU, IITs and IIITs specialized in generative AI modeling and deep learning. We work on exciting deep learning speech and language technologies for India/Bharat that power incredibly engaging user experiences. We are looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack) to build a high-quality web application. You’ll be writing code, making architectural decisions, recommending technologies to adopt, and ensuring that our systems scale up reliably and securely.

Responsibilities

• Build easy-to-use web applications, including both front-end features and the backend services that power them

• Make and implement technology decisions that support business needs without compromising data security and user privacy

• Advocate for high standards and help limit the growth of technical debt

• Build deep user empathy and maintain a user-centric mindset

• Communicate regularly and effectively with other disciplines including design, product, machine learning, and will have opportunities to learn from and contribute to projects across the company

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 3+ years experience building, shipping and operating web applications at scale.

• Experience as a lead engineer on a major component or subsystem of a software platform, or as the lead for the platform itself

• Ability to act with autonomy & self-direction while working well in a team environment

• Passion for startups and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Bonus

• Familiarity with large-scale distributed computing frameworks and cloud-based ML platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud AI Platform).
