Overview
We are looking for a talented and driven Security Engineer who is passionate about securing innovative products from 0 to Production. As a Security Engineer, you will build tooling and platforms to secure existing and new products. You will work closely with the founders, engineers, and other cross-functional partners to secure new products and platforms to market. This is an amazing opportunity offering you the ability to learn new technical skills in blockchain and work with an amazing team of engineers.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the founders, engineers, and other cross-functional partners to execute critical security priorities
- Own and lead enterprise information security and product security
- Partner with developers to continuously review and assess new code releases, identify the risks, and help provide solutions
- Participate in code and architecture reviews of major projects
- Investigate events, triage potential incidents, and work closely with our teams during these incidents to help drive response efforts
- Conduct open-ended research around cutting-edge blockchain technologies
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience and security engineering/cybersecurity experience
- 2+ years of experience in protocol and smart contract security
- Experience securing infrastructure hosted on cloud server providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Experience testing and screening security software and monitoring networks for breaches
- Experience building on Ethereum, Solana, or Cosmos
- Highly autonomous, ability to design and develop secure software with minimal guidance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and across the product engineering stack
- Clear written and verbal communication
Nice To Have
- Experience in Python, Solidity, Go, or Rust
- Experience in incident response, deployment safety, or DevSecOps
- Experience breaking complex smart contract & client systems into modular components to limit blast radius of security vulnerabilities.
- Experience in financial engineering and/or capital markets microstructure
- Founded a company
- Experience working with startups
