SuperTokens builds open-source user authentication and is being used by 1000+ developers across the globe, including at some of the world's largest companies. We're growing 30-40% MoM on adoption metrics and are in the early stages of monetization. This is the perfect time to join and get some equity in our company.

In terms of funding: We’ve closed a seed round and a pre series A round from a top tier US VC firm that specialises in devtools and were over subscribed.

In terms of user growth: We’ve seen 25-30% MoM growth over the last couple of months and have companies across the board using SuperTokens in production. We’ve had apps with 300k+ MAUs migrate from Auth0, Firebase and Cognito to SuperTokens. We have a significant amount of high-intent organic inbound from mid-market / large companies.

What kind of work will you get?

We are looking for a fullstack engineer.

Examples of technical tasks:

• Working on our frontend and backend SDKs.
• Architecting auth flows.

Requirements

• Well versed in HTML, CSS and Javascript. Frameworks such as React are a bonus.
• Familiar with and comfortable working SQL Databases (will be a plus).
• Advanced understanding of at least one object oriented programming language (Go, Python, NodeJs, Java etc).
• Expert in Git.
• Expertise in Linux and / or MacOS + using CLI.
• Fimilar with Docker.
• Good to have NextJs/Nuxt/Svelte/Remix (any one).
• Previous startup experience.
• Contributed to open source, or have your own open source repo with a community and many github stars.
• A personal website or Technical Blogs.

Bonus:

• Built an in-house authentication or authorization solution or worked with solutions such as Keycloak, Auth0, Ory, Okta etc.

Recruitment Process

Introductory call - 30 minutes

• One of our team members will get on a call with you.
• This call is to discuss your role and motivation for applying to the company along with your expectations from the position.
• The call may also involve a discussion on some tech concepts (no code required though).

Technical Interview (1/2) - 1.5 hours

• Discussion on your past work, this will involve sharing your work (code and output) via screen share.
• Architecture discussion and general programming related live code problems.
• You will be allowed to use Google throughout the interview and you will be required to have screen share on.
• This call will be with the CTO.

Technical Interview (2/2) - 1.5 hour

• This will involve a discussion to assess the breadth and depth of your technical knowledge and general questions on various technical topics.
• You will not be asked to write any code.
• This call will be with the CTO.
