Job Title: Content Writer

Work Hours :Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (Flexible)

Salary Range :$800-$1200 (Depending on the interview result and client’s approval)

We are a growing business that specializes in writing newsletters for multiple clients across diverse industries. We pride ourselves on delivering relevant, current content that informs, educates, and entertains. We are seeking an individual who can grow with us and contribute to our upward trajectory.

Responsibilities:

Content Research:

- Actively scour the internet to source recent and relevant content for newsletters. This includes but is not limited to news articles, tweets, blog posts, YouTube videos, TikToks, podcasts, etc.

- Prioritize content that has been posted or uploaded within the last week, although evergreen content can occasionally be used.

• Create, maintain, and consistently update an index of reliable content sources to extract weekly content from.

Writing:

- Draft compelling newsletters based on the sourced content, ensuring alignment with the client's objectives and audience's interests.

• Collaborate closely with the lead editor to integrate feedback and occasionally rewrite sections, if needed.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with the lead editor to ensure that the newsletters reflect the desired tone, style, and quality.

• Stay updated on client feedback and requirements, making necessary adjustments to content and sources accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role, ideally for digital publications.
• Excellent research, writing, and editing skills, with the ability to craft engaging and informative content.
• Familiarity with digital platforms such as social media, blogs, and podcasts.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines
• Tools: Google Suite, Docs, Instagram, Youtube, and Tiktok familiarity (ability to download and use an account to research
