Senior Accountant

Job Responsibilities:
● Own monthly close activities including preparation of accruals, amortizations, and revenue recognition entries.
● Work cross-functionally to provide insights to other departments; leverage financial data to drive decision making and collaboration.
● Maintain all appropriate Balance Sheet schedules and support throughout the year.
● Own International entity accounting and reporting including analysis and budgeting.
● Analyze and report on various general ledger accounts.
● Collaborate with key teams including AP, Operations, HR, and IT to resolve issues and streamline workflows.
● Ensure data integrity by reconciling third party platforms to ERP.
● Identify and implement best practices to support fiscal management and controls.
● Assist with special projects as needed - e.g. analyze and track profitability of international business locations; analyze gross margin by comparing to budget and understanding areas of opportunity for improvement

Skills and Experience:
● Experience: 3+ years’ experience, CPG knowledge a plus.
● Computer Skills: NetSuite experience preferred.
● Certificates, Licenses, registrations: CPA desired.
● Travel Requirements: None
● Education: Bachelor’s degree

Job Details:
● Location: Hybrid/Remote - (Travel to Milford, CT brewery once per week).
● Salary: Commensurate with experience - Base salary and opportunities for performance bonuses
