Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team. The Senior Data Scientist will lead advanced data analysis, machine learning, and modeling efforts to solve complex business problems, uncover insights, and develop data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis, along with excellent communication skills to translate findings into actionable recommendations for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end data science projects, from problem formulation and data collection to model development and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and identify opportunities for data-driven solutions.
• Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large and complex datasets.
• Develop predictive models, algorithms, and machine learning pipelines to solve business problems and optimize processes.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and data visualization to uncover insights and communicate findings effectively.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists and analysts within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and machine learning, and assess their potential application to business challenges.
• Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and frameworks to enhance the data science capabilities of the team.
• Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to ensure the availability and quality of data for analysis.
• Present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Data Scientist or similar role, including hands-on experience with data analysis and machine learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex and unstructured datasets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data engineering and data preparation techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies is a plus.
