About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our growing Security team. As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you’ll be working with our Software Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering teams to manage the security posture of our production, testing, development, and corporate environments. You’ll also be responsible for managing the security posture of various subprocessor integrations as well as a host of SaaS products.
This is a highly technical position at a rapidly growing security product and engineering company, working with exceptionally skilled researchers and engineers. It is an opportunity to manage the security posture of critical production systems and influence the product roadmap of the market-leading SSPM product. Your work will have a direct and meaningful impact on securing our customers and their data—which may include your own data!
Responsibilities
- Manage the security posture of the AppOmni Commercial and FedRAMP GCP environments.
- Manage the security posture of the AppOmni Azure and AWS environments.
- Manage the security posture of AppOmni’s SaaS tenants using AppOmni.
- Contribute to AppOmni product roadmap and feature input.
- Work with our Compliance team to offer input on AppOmni product compliance features.
- Work with our Security team on monitoring, detection, and response efforts.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Security engineer or similar
- Strong knowledge of GCP security and cloud security best practices
- Strong knowledge of Terraform / Kubernetes / GKE
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud and security best practices
- Familiarity with two or more SaaS platforms like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Github, Workday, Box, Slack, Zoom, etc…
- Development experience in Python and Django
- A strong passion and interest in security
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a remote setting.
- Ability to learn and research independently and deliver on goals and objectives.

Our total rewards package includes the following:
- Base Salary: The annual base salary compensation range in the U.S. for this role is: $148,688 - $204,446. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as the final candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as business considerations and peer compensation.
