As the Audio & Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing primarily long-form audio and video content to create engaging and high-quality materials for our audience. Additionally, you will assist the social media team with multimedia elements as needed. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, proficiency in editing software, and the ability to bring stories to life through editing.

  • Job type: Part-time Volunteer
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: ≥ 6 months

Responsibilities:

  • Editing: Assist in editing primarily long-form audio and video content for various platforms.
  • Post-Production: Support the post-production process, including color correction, sound mixing, and adding special effects.
  • Quality Control: Review and ensure the technical quality and consistency of all audio and video outputs.
  • Media Management: Organize and manage media files, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of assets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing and Content teams to align editing projects with overall brand strategy and messaging.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Currently enrolled in or graduated from a Bachelor’s program
  • Experience: 0+ years of relevant experience

Skills:

  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
  • Knowledge of audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition).
  • Strong attention to detail and creativity.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
