The Marketing Manager will be the first full-time hire on the Cumulus marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a rising star with an entrepreneurial spirit to help build the next big brand in coffee.
This person will help build the Cumulus online presence through the creation and dissemination of multimedia content. This involves developing and executing content strategies for the website, CRM program, social media, performance marketing, and other channels as needed.
This individual should be a digital native with e-commerce experience who understands the performance science behind great content. Cumulus is an early-stage startup, so no task is off the table. We are looking for a builder who is excited about the idea of influencing everything from the ground up.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop a content strategy that translates the brand foundation into compelling and high-performance storytelling that drives awareness and traffic, nurtures and converts leads, and fosters retention.
- Lead the buildout of the Cumulus CRM program.
- Create editorial content that delivers on the content strategy and performs well across all ocustomer-facing channels.
- Manage the website content, keeping it relevant and fresh to drive traffic, engage visitors, and convert visitors to leads and members.
- Develop and manage SEO strategy in an effort to drive traffic and improve CAC/LTV.
- Craft interesting, well-researched content to drive traffic, engage and convert target customers, and improve shared content across social media channels.
- Identify the appropriate KPIs that generate rich insights and create actionable plans for optimization.
- Assist in the buildout and maintenance of the Cumulus asset library,
- Translate the Cumulus social media strategy into an engaging content plan and launch all social channels.
- Work with performance marketing to develop and execute campaigns to drive engagement with content.
- Copy, edit, and review content across all touchpoints to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
- Identify and implement tools and processes for effective creation and measurement of content.
- Support PR as needed with editorial and content.
- Guide content needs for future programs such as influencer, affiliate, loyalty, etc.
- Collaborate with agencies and freelance writers/designers to ensure content consistency.
