The Role

Summary

80% Data Analyst, 20% Data Scientist role
In a highly data-driven startup like ours, you’ll be our go-to expert to set up, analyze, and improve our experiments and understand user behavior patterns.

What You’ll Do

Work closely with engineering and product teams to plan, run, monitor and analyze experiments
Help teams directly with data to better acquire and retain customers, develop marketing strategies, inform related product decisions. Evaluate, develop, and build automated tracking of KPIs across the business, create in-depth analysis and dashboard
Leveraging data from our systems to build analysis and predictive models to help derive actionable insights for teams including sales, product, customer success, marketing, and support.
Implement security best practices to protect customer data
Evaluate ways to increase the efficiency of internal data flows and integrate data from different sources to create a centralized source of truth with SQL and data tools
Problem solving: think of and then implement solutions to technical problems presented by the product team

Experience Requirements:

5 years of experience in data analysis
B2C experience is a must
Skilled at querying relational databases (SQL) and visualizing data, with attention to detail
Proven experience in conducting A/B tests and interpreting results to drive data-informed decisions.
Experience analyzing user behaviors, such as engagement patterns, navigation paths, and product usage metrics.
Strong quantitative skills and critical thinking skills
Self-driven and curious, not only interested in the data but also the “why” behind it, and how to turn it into business outcomes
Deploying and maintaining solutions in production environments
Experience with data science and data analysis tools and libraries
Experience with amplitude and bigquery is a plus.
Strong communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally and manage projects

Nice to Have

Ruby on Rails experience
Applying Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning techniques, including from AWS or other cloud providers
Fine-tuning accuracy and performance of ML applications
Experience working in a Mobile 1st company
