We are looking for a Content Manager to lead our Academic Books division. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will allow you to use your skills and experience to help us produce top-quality educational materials.

You will be responsible for managing the production process from manuscript acquisition to finished product. This requires a keen eye for detail, superb organizational skills, and a strong interest in the publishing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end publishing process of academic books, including acquisition, editing, design, production, and marketing.
- Liaise with authors, editors, designers, and other staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop a strategic plan to grow the Academic Books division, including identifying potential new authors and market opportunities.
- Foster relationships with academic institutions, authors, and other stakeholders to understand the current and future needs of our target market.
- Ensure that all published materials meet high-quality standards and are in line with the company's mission and values.
- Monitor market trends in academic publishing and recommend strategies for improving our products and services.
- Manage a team of content interns, contract-based proofreaders, and partner closely with CEO/Founder for day-to-day tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Publishing, English, Business Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' work experience (publishing or non-publishing industry).
- Knowledge of the publishing process, including editorial, design, and production stages is a plus.
- Exceptional project management and team leadership skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Word, Excel, etc.
Location: Opposite Railway Station, Kandivali West, Mumbai
Job Type: Full Time (Monday - Saturday, 9am-6pm)
Salary: Rs. 30K-35K per month
