Frontend Engineer

We're looking for a self-motivated and experienced Frontend Engineer with a keen eye for UI/UX. This position is fully remote, so you can work from anywhere!

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining multiple frontend applications such as Shopify stores, web apps, and plugins
• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Collaborating with our team to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Working closely with the backend engineers to integrate with the APIs
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues, problems, and errors encountered across our web properties, internal applications, and systems as reported or experienced

Technical Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Reach and Tailwind
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and related infrastructure technologies
