Full-Stack Engineer / Founding Team of Mission-Focused Startup

About Bondoo
We're working on a hugely disruptive consumer-focused AI/ML startup that will provide advice to help people live their best lives. The co-founders are Princeton/Stanford grads with extensive tech startup, fundraising, business growth and data science experience. The company's product is currently at an early design prototype stage. We're looking for a full stack engineer to join as a founding team member. This hands-on lead engineer role will have significant equity participation initially and salary upon completion of a funding round.

Role may be part-time and structured as contract / freelance, as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of product development
• Work collaboratively directly with co-founders, other team members and contractors
• Be responsible for leading, developing and delivering high-impact, high-quality, well-tested cross-platform software
• Own the tech stack
• Help solve problems across all areas of the business -- includes building new features directly from wireframes and designs
• Be comfortable with change and constructive problem-solving
• Be self-motivated and able to proactively create structure within a fast-paced, fluid environment
• Bring passion to write clean, reusable code that follows best practices

Qualifications

• Full-stack experience building and deploying consumer-focused iOS and Android mobile applications including front-end and back-end
• Very comfortable using Expo / React Native + Django / Python
• Familiarity with REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Optional familiarity with GCP cloud platform
• Experience working with UI/UX designers
• Deep passion for collaboratively building a mission-oriented startup innovating to solve society-scale problems
