Senior Flutter Developer

Downstream is seeking a Senior Flutter Mobile App Developer to join our dynamic team. We are a waste marketplace startup that is revolutionizing the waste industry by connecting waste companies with customers through our reliable logistics engine for routing haulers. The ideal candidate will be a talented and passionate Flutter developer with experience in building mobile apps, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Responsibilities:

• Design and develop efficient and scalable Flutter mobile apps to support our waste marketplace platform
• Work with CTO to drive the architecture and design of the mobile application (Flutter)
• Write clean and maintainable code and follow software development best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile apps
• Optimize the performance of mobile apps to ensure fast and reliable performance
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development and bring new ideas to the team

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in mobile app development with Flutter (if you’re good, 2 years is enough)
• A strong portfolio of Flutter projects demonstrating your skills and expertise (portfolio projects are a plus)
• Experience integrating with 3rd party software such as Stripe, Intercom, and Auth0
• Passion for entrepreneurship and a desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desired:

• Experience with Django and Django Rest Framework
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
