Project Manager

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager to join the Engineering Team to manage the development of our core software products, DER Value & Billing and Trellis Admin Platform. This position will report to the Sr. Technical Project Manager and work closely with the Product Management Team. We are remote-friendly but also have a great office environment in downtown San Diego.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the assigned projects and lead from start to finish, ensuring the product satisfies all the items defined by the product management team.
• Have a strong understanding of scalability. Identify and troubleshoot any issues proactively.
• Collaborate with the product management team and understand product requirements to create timelines broken down into epics, user stories, and tasks.
• Attend and lead daily meetings, keeping all team members informed and on track. We are using Jira for task tracking.
• Help identify and address developer team's blockers in and outside of daily meetings.
• Organize and lead sprint review and retrospective sessions to encourage knowledge sharing and gather feedback.
• Track and measure team capacity; plan sprints accordingly, create and assign tasks to both internal full-time employees and contractors.
• Collaborate with designers, developers and product owners to ensure seamless integration of the product components with the desired functionality.
• Continuously evaluate project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure the project stays on track.
• Keep all stakeholders informed of project progress and proactively manage any risks that may arise.

Compensation

$80,000- $140,000 annually

Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs.

Requirements

• Mid to Senior experience level with software development project management
• Strong understanding of Scrum is a must.
• Technical knowledge of front-end technologies and how it communicates with other parts through API.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for innovation and delivering exceptional experiences.
• A proactive and driven mindset, with a focus on delivering results.
• Ability to take ownership and work efficiently.
