Ivy Energy is hiring for a Service Data Analyst within the Product Operations department. The role will have endless opportunities to use command line analysis, build and optimize reusable queries, and transform data with code. The role itself will not be measured based on new code productivity but more the ability to pay attention to important details that influence customer satisfaction. As a Service Data Analyst you will be responsible for verifying the quality of processed data through validation analysis while also having exploration and practice as part of your work. This role will also be responsible in managing data driven support tickets and communicating with 3rd parties about a solution or timeline for fixes. This position will be well suited for someone who wants to grow their data analysis skills, work in a high growth industry, and be part of an energetic culture.
Requirements
- Notable education in fields related to data science, business, or analytics.
- You have at least one year of work experience (preferably in SaaS service delivery operations) or related academic project work as a data analyst.
- You have at least one year of experience working with Python (data gathering, analysis, and visualization) and SQL/Postgres.
- You are investigative and curious, you can find or create leads in data, and follow through on clues to create hypotheses which you seek to answer.
- You can understand the business challenges of stakeholders, and work both independently and collaboratively to answer relevant questions.
- You have a strong drive to continue learning (new platforms, technologies, etc.) and teach what you know.
- You are a skilled communicator and understand the importance of creating relationships.
