Fullstack Consultant (Montreal, Canada)

Wscripted is an impact-driven story discovery company that leverages AI to break down the archaic roadblocks and inefficiencies of Hollywood, with the mission to disrupt story review and diversify writers’ discovery for Film, TV, Publishing and Brands. Wscripted recently launched the first AI literary platform Wscripted+ for creative professionals to review scripts and books 90% faster and for writers to be discovered beyond network. Job Description
We are looking for a full stack software engineering consultant to join Wscripted for 1 month fulltime or 2 months part-time. By joining our team, you will participate in building a secure and scalable technology to analyze, recommend and share literary content powered by AI.

What you will do:

• Use your experience of the full stack to design and build backend and front-end systems incorporating prompt engineering.
• Collaborate directly with Founder, AI and infrastructure engineers to build a stable and secure SaaS.
• Participate in product strategy to improve the user experience and prioritize features accordingly.
• Review technical design, code and be in charge of deployments for the duration of the mission

Requirements:

• You have 3 to 5 years experience in leading frontend and backend development and have experience coding and testing with Python, Flask, React, PostgreSQL as well as AWS.
• You are interested in incorporating prompt engineering and GenAI develpments in fullstack applications.
• You have strong skills in AWS and have experience deploying applications in production.
• You are based in the region of Quebec, Canada

• You have strong communication skills and are able to communicate in non-tech terms.
  
• You are autonomous and eager to resolve end to end problems, with little supervision.
• You have a positive and entrepreneurial mindset and are interested in early stage startup
• You hold a Bachelor/Master in Computer Science and 3+ years experience a software engineer.
