Machine Learning Engineer

Role
We are looking for machine learning engineers who can work with our researchers and product engineers to develope the world's best dialogue models and bring it into into a high-volume, low-latency, and high-availability production environment.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside machine learning researchers and engineers to develope our latest technologies in dialogue systems.
• Manage and optimize computation and data for machine learning experiments at large scale
• Identifying bottlenecks, sources of instability, and failure cases in machine learning experiments to offer actionable information for improvement.
• Develope new techniques, tools, and architecutre that improve the performance, latency, throughput, and efficiency of our deployed machine learning systems.

Requirements

• Have experience with modern language models and an intuition for optimizing their performance.
• Be open to out-of-box thinking and willing to learn relevant knowledge to make things work.
• At least 3 years of professional software engineers experience related to data science or machine learning.
• Familar with PyTorch, NVIDIA GPUs, and the related software stacks based on Linux, Docker and NVIDIA CUDA.
• Have experience in designing and debugging production-ready distributed systems for machine learning inference.
• Can adapt to a fast-paced environment where frequent refactoring of product systems can happen because of scalability.
• Have intuition on whether off-the-shelf solutions can work in production and study them when needed.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and have good communication skills to work in a team.
