Optical Tech / Front Desk Specialist

This position is an especially interesting one! This is where the patient first encounters our team -- at the front desk! As a front desk specialist, this person will be responsible for welcoming patients to our practice, obtaining iD and pertinant insurance information, explaining the benefit of having the baseline Optos test so that the Doctor can see photos of 90% of the retina, and then performing the prestesting of the patient before their eye exam - refraction, eye pressure, and mapping of the retina (Optos).
We do love to train those who want to learn about eye care.
