Equity-based Engineering role at early stage startup

Hello! We are Making, the first social marketplace app for makers, crafters, and artists. We just launched our Marketplace and are looking for some additional engineering help.

We're looking for an equity-based full-stack engineer to assist with bug squashing and adding additional features to our app. 5-15 hours a week with the possibility of moving into a full-time salaried position in the future. This could be a great position for those who might be in between jobs and/or want a little extra side work in exchange for equity with a growing early-stage start-up.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of one year’s recent experience with all of the skills listed below.

Skills

• Writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Python and JavaScript
• React Native and React.js
• Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions
• Server management and deployment for the relevant environment
• An understanding of user experience and possibly even product strategy
• Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests
• Appreciation for clean and well-documented code
