Are you a data and code wizard looking for a new challenge? Look no further! Zensor, a startup that's shaking things up in the tech industry, is seeking a data collection and data management engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join our team of not-so-ordinary monitoring specialists.
In this role at Zensor, you'll be responsible for both making sure that we can collect all the data required from sensors and existing data sources as well as for assisting in designing, developing, and maintaining the company's backend systems and infrastructure. We're looking for someone with experience in Python, while expertise in InfluxDB is certainly a big plus. Bonus points if you're familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
Key responsibilities include:
• Setting up and configuring systems to collect data, including PLCs (aka, mining for magic dust)
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend systems and infrastructure (aka, making magic happen)
• Optimizing our database systems, specifically InfluxDB (aka, making more magic happen)
• Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration of the backend systems (aka, making even more magic happen)
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members (aka, spreading the magic)
The ideal candidate will have:
• 2+ years of experience in PLC programming or other edge devices (aka, experience collecting magic dust)
• 2+ years of experience in backend development (aka, experience making magic) -Strong experience with a variety of programming languages, specifically Python and C++. (aka, fluent in the language of magic)
• Expertise in InfluxDB and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (aka, master of the magic of data)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology (aka, always looking for new ways to make magic)
