About the job
Responsibilities:
As a member of the Network Specialist team, the Specialist is responsible for the following:
- Work remotely for planning, rebuilding, setting up and decommissioning of network devices
- Implement, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure in support of Office LANs, LANs in production environment and critical infrastructures based on complex customer requirements and architecture standards.
- Execute operational activities such as deployment, monitoring and incident management
- Provide technical consultation to the Customer/ Network Engineer and Project Manager for developing new systems or enhancing existing ones to support the business.
- Provide support of LAN, WLAN and WAN environments for major customers
- Participate in remote standby activity
- Work with Network Architects and Engineers to realize technical concept.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the planning and implementation of LANs based on professional grade hardware.
- Excellent knowledge in TCP/IP, VLAN, static and dynamic routing (BGP and IS-IS)
- Excellent experience in Technical Troubleshooting and Monitoring and documentation tools.
- Good experience in routing and switching for LAN, WLAN & WAN implementation Tasks so that realistic deadlines can be defined and met.
- Good understanding in Network Administration and Service Level Agreements.
- Good experience working with Cisco Catalyst switches 2k, 3k and 9k, Cisco Nexus switches 3k, 5k, and 9k, Cisco ASR routers, Cisco ISR router and Cisco Meraki portfolio (cloudmanaged network)
- Knowledge in Software Defined Access with Cisco DNA
- Experience in Cisco Lifecycle Management is an advantage
- This job demand flexibility and willingness to work in dynamic environment with customer driven project. The candidates are expected to communicate with clients and colleagues in the EU regularly.
- Solid analytical, interpersonal and communication (English verbal and written) skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines. Independent, self-discipline, self-organize, and able to learn and work under minimum supervision
- Cisco certification is an advantage
