Sr. Product Designer

What you'll be doing

• As our new Senior Product Designer, you'll be the architect of innovation at the forefront of an open-source project. Your role is pivotal in guiding our company-wide design process, ensuring it's logical and efficient.
• Your experience will be fundamental in tweaking and growing our design system, creating standards, components and patterns that encourage a culture of reusable and systematic design.
• You become the bridge between customer needs and our designs, creating innovative UX and visual designs that galvanise our team and excite our customers.
• From rough sketches to finely adjusted mockups, your role is to ensure our design journey is seamless and unmatched in quality. You'll create a best-in-class experience, visually stunning and highly functional user interfaces that delight our customers.

Things we'd love to see

• Extensive experience in designing and shipping software products that users love — prior experience working with data-dense or AI SaaS products and/or visually displaying quantitative information is a plus
• Up-to-date with 5+ years in professional Product Design.
• Skilled in creating interactive prototypes with tools like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD. Animation skills are a bonus.
• A portfolio that tells a story of your research-driven problem-solving approach and its impact.
• Early adopter of prototyping and iteration as part of continuous learning.
• Effective collaborator with product managers and engineers in a fast-paced startup.
• Experienced in seamlessly transitioning work to engineers while ensuring top design quality at launch.
• A team player attitude that encourages shared responsibilities and collective efforts.
• A knack for focusing on customer insights and data, owning even the smallest details.
• Intellectual curiosity, always asking "how can we improve?"
• A burning passion to contribute towards creating world-class products that make an impact.
