We're looking for a Fullstack Javascript Developer to join our team to help us build performant web apps.

About the Role

We’re looking for someone who is extremely keen to learn and develop their skillset in a fast-paced and innovative environment. This includes everything from architecting and building web applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure.

Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player is required. You’ll need to be a self-starter and extremely proactive, and you’re comfortable and excited by the prospect of working towards our team’s and your own targets relatively autonomously.

We don’t expect you to be an expert in all areas of web development, we just ask that you bring enthusiasm and have an innate eagerness to learn about the areas you don’t have existing experience in.

Your Responsibilities

1. You’ll support a number of initiatives, including...
2. Develop web apps with the NestJS, PrismaORM, React, Node.js, etc based on designs and wireframes
3. Design and build backend APIs for frontend web applications
4. Work on bug fixing, code refactoring and improving application performance
5. Practice writing clean and maintainable code according to best practices
6. Contribute to an agile team that solves complex challenges and builds quality software
7. Collaborate with the design team by providing inputs and suggestions on the feasibility of their designs
8. Contribute towards the overall learning experience of the team
9. Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and preferences.
10. Keeping the systems and processes organised and running smoothly within the Company

Requirements

1. Malaysian citizen
2. At least 3 year of experience building web applications with NestJS/NodeJS
3. Knowledge in the Javascript, Typescript, Jest, TDD, Git, REST API, etc
4. Experience with React.js is a plus
5. Good communication skills and a strong command of spoken and written English
6. Appreciate great design and craftsmanship
7. Thirst for knowledge and challenges
