Product Marketing Manager

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Product Marketing Manager to join our team. In this volunteer role, you will play a crucial part in developing and executing marketing strategies that will help launch and establish our dance platform in key markets, particularly across European capitals. This is an unpaid, fully remote, part-time position that offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience while making a meaningful impact on the global dance community.

About Us:

WeDance is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting dance communities globally. Our mission is to foster collaboration and development by bringing together experts from various fields to create and sustain a thriving dance infrastructure. We provide open-source software for the public good, defined by innovative, collaborative processes and a commitment to high-quality outcomes. We are a community of developers and dancers united in our passion for dance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy: Develop and execute marketing strategies for our open-source dance platform, ensuring alignment with our mission and community needs.
• Pricing & Monetization: Explore and recommend pricing models and strategies that align with our non-profit status while supporting platform sustainability.
• Market Placement: Identify and engage with key markets, particularly in European capitals, to launch and establish our platform.
• Promotion: Create and implement marketing campaigns to raise awareness and drive adoption of our platform within the dance community.

Key Challenges:

• Successfully launching and establishing our community-driven marketplace.
• Reaching and sustaining critical mass in European capitals and other major cities worldwide.

Requirements:

• Results-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Proven experience in copywriting, sales, and marketing communication.
• Passion for dance and familiarity with various dance communities is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
