Technical Editor

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
● Make sure that the in-house style is adhered to (house style means the particular writing
style of a given organisation, including the tone and punctuation/grammar conventions)
● Rewriting the content submitted by the writer so that it flows or reads better
● Ensure that the writer delivers non-plagiarised technical content (including product and
brand descriptions) in a simple and precise manner
● Should be street-smart and self-motivated to work as a team player, sharing new ideas
or useful information with his/her team members
● Well-versed with the British style of writing

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
● 1-2 years of technical editing experience with a graduation background in Mechanical,
Electrical, Electronics & Communication, and Instrumentation will be preferred
● Sound knowledge of MS Excel and Google Office Suite (Google Sheets, Google Docs,
etc.)
● Stellar reading and research skills
