As a Senior Back-End Engineer, you will be the team leader to our Engineering team to build a booking platform that offers the best-in-class mobile user experience in Hong Kong and even across Asia. You will be able to develop and test new coding & design methodologies across mobile apps, web and databases with a passionate and experienced team. Together let’s build an innovative marketplace for travellers worldwide!

Responsibilities

• Assist system design with teammates
• Maintain backend services/ microservices
• Implement new API functionality along with our product extension

Requirements

• Communicable
• Good knowledge in MYSQL
• Proficiency in NodeJS/ TypeScript
• Experience in AWS Lambda/ API Gateway
• Experience in other AWS components like Kinesis is a PLUS
• Experience in Firebase modules like Authentication implementation is a PLUS
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in production environment is a MUST (candidate with more experience would be offered a more senior post)
• Diploma or above in Computer Science or relevant disciplines
• Sharp minded of system architecture/ modular coding
• Usually crave for challenges (not always have to)
• Fast learner and self-motivated team player
• A sense of ownership towards your work
