Q Bio’s clinical digital twin platform, Gemini, is the first to capture and monitor comprehensive baseline patient health in a scalable virtual model. The Gemini Dashboard highlights the most important chemical and anatomical changes in an individual weighted by an individual’s lifestyle, genetic and medical history, that can be securely shared with physicians and specialists all over the world.
Gemini is powered by the fastest, most accessible, whole body scanner developed: the Mark I. Self-driving and optimized for primary care, the Mark I can complete a whole-body scan in 15 minutes or less in an open space, without radiation, breath holds, or claustrophobia. Patient comfort is maximized with the option to sit, stand, or lie down, and real-time telemetry is displayed throughout.

As an Electrical Engineer on our team, your core responsibilities will include developing digital, analog, and mixed signal electronics for the Next-Generation Mark I imaging device. You will work on all phases of hardware development, including advanced technology, conceptualization, prototyping, design, verification, manufacturing, and manufacturing transfer.
Knowledge and skill requirements:
- Master or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with minimum 3 years of experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead complex projects internally and with 3rd party vendors
- Experience with high-speed digital interfaces, FPGAs, high-speed data conversion and low jitter clocking circuitry
- Circuit design and PCB layout and routing techniques for high speed circuitry to ensure signal integrity, EMC compatibility and compliance with applicable standards
- Experience developing instrumentation systems (controls, sensors, automation, robotics, firmware, device communication, etc.)
- Excellent organizational, communication and team skills
- Proficient in scripting, debugging, optimization tools, and unit testing
Additional preferred skills to have:
- A broad knowledge of the relationship between various hardware components and image quality in a clinical MRI system
- Experience developing Low noise analog front ends or power supplies
