Senior Cloud Architect and Engineer

Your help and creative ideas will be pivotal in the launch and brand awareness of exciting new ventures and the ongoing marketing support for our core Digital Transformation services business.

Job Description:

We are searching for individuals who have experience in architecting and working on infrastructure and migration to the cloud. Some of the expertise we are looking for include:

-Cloud expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure, Cloud Foundry, VMWare Tanzu.

-Any experience or certifications are desired, but not essential. We would expect individuals to undertake the training.

-Be able to lead Cloud Strategy engagements, Cloud technology and architecture efforts, Cloud deployments, as well as Cloud migrations and portfolio migration to the. Cloud.

-Building DevOps strategy and implementation

-Perform application portfolio analysis to identify candidate applications and workloads for migration to the Cloud.

-Verify technical feasibility and validate solution options for the requirements

-Agile Software Development experience with CI/CD pipeline deployment and being part of a scrum team, and willing to take on multiple roles, such as Product Owner, Scrum Master and Business Analyst for the collection of requirements.

Qualifications:

-Degree in a technical subject (Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics)

-Up to 5 years experience in delivering to clients of all sizes, from early stage startups to large enterprises

-Technical and Solution architecture experience

-Web Technologies together with programming in 'big data' languages. Any DevOps experience is also desired.

-A fast-paced startup environment, working in a small team with a flat hierarchy where we all pitch in together to achieve the best results for the business and our clients.

-Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
