Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate product designer to develop and execute new cloud-based applications using Azure Framework. You will have a hands-on role in supporting the systems development team implementing and maintaining these innovations and services.

This will be a remote permanent full-time position. Although we do have a head office in Lethbridge, Alberta, the majority of our employees work remotely.
In summary, the Systems Architect will:
• Architect Microsoft Azure Solutions across multiple platforms.
• Provide Microsoft Azure architecture collaboration with technical project teams.
• Work within a project management/agile team in a leading role.
• Collaborate and liaise with other stakeholders/end users in the software development lifecycle – PMs, Bas, QA’s, etc.
• Provide effective knowledge transfer and upskilling to project team to ensure an appropriate level of future self-sufficiency.
• Assist in transition of projects to Operational team.

The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:
• A Bachelors Degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in software development and Azure architecture.
• Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions and Architecting Microsoft Azure certifications are an asset.
• A good working knowledge of systems and functional analysis, quality assurance, and change management best practices.
• Direct experience spanning the breadth of the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform including Infrastructure and security related services. (Azure AD, IaaS, Containers, Storage, Networking, and Azure Security).
• Direct experience of enterprise solution shaping and Microsoft Azure Cloud architecture development.
• Experience setting up, deploying, and managing multiple environments to support agile development approaches.
• A deep understanding of coding best practices and modern architectural patterns including micro services and message-driven architectures.
• Recent, hands-on experience with Dev-Ops toolset.
• Fluency with C#, .NET (framework and core), ASP.NET, MVC Core, IIS, SQL Server, SSRS, ad JavaScript.
• Good working knowledge in modern web application frameworks such as Angular.

Preference given to those who have experience in the Canadian financial sector
