Software Engineer - Android

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with proficiency in Kotlin - Programming Language and Kotlin Jetpack Components. A person with enough hustle to go through the adventurous journey of a startup. Someone who is enthralled with the idea of building new business lines from the beginning and pushing it towards the users. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important. The role requires developers to be comfortable with bleeding-edge technology and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Proficiency in Kotlin Jetpack Components.
Proficiency in Kotlin (must) languages to write clear, readable, and maintainable code.
Hands-on experience in application design and development on the android platform.
Experience in mobile application development.
Experience in the design and development of the Android Applications
Application(s) requiring integration with web services.

Qualifications expected of an Android developer:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, application performance, or a related field.
Hands on Kotlin language.
Solid understanding of common programming tools and paradigms, such as version control, use of frameworks, and common design patterns.
Proficiency with Android Studio and Android SDK tools.
Excellent knowledge of the Java programming language.
Familiarity with mobile applications and development, including the use of hardware such as accelerometers, cameras, and gyroscopes.
Comfortable working as part of a cross-functional team and with code. written by others, including bug fixing, and refactoring legacy code.
Excellent communication skills.
