Senior Platform Engineers DevOps / Core Infrastructure

General responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for designing, building, coding, and running distributed infrastructure.
• You will work in a cloud native environment in GCP.
• You will maintain and operate our K8s-based platform.
• You will develop in an open-source stack with systems like Helm (DevOps), Prometheus / Grafana, Vault, ArgoCD.
• You will operate our open-source data application stack consisting of services like Air-flow, Apache Beam, elastic, Kafka, various MLOps tools (DevOps).
• You will build and maintain Gitlab CI pipelines.
• You will be monitoring our infrastructure and resolve incidents.
• You will constantly improve and automate all your tasks.
• You will consult and advice our developers in terms of infrastructure questions.

Job requirements:

• You have several years of relevant job experience as a DevOps Engineer or Platform Engineer.
• You have experience in operating Kubernetes.
• You have experience in running large scale and distributed systems.
• You are a Linux user.
• You worked in a cloud environment, preferably in GCP.
• You code your infrastructure and know Terraform by heart.
• You have experience with Python or Go or other (higher) programming languages.
• You automate all the boring tasks.
