Data Scientist

Data-Scientists who have experience of using Geographic Information Systems (including, GIS data) and in Data-visualization

General JD:

Thorough understanding of Data-Science concepts and strong ‘hands-on’ expertise in architecting AI/ML solutions for challenging use-cases and in building classical and Deep Learning models.
Strong ability to decompose complex problems into sub-tasks and to translate business-requirements into Data-Science asks
Strong programming skills in Python using standard Python libraries and frameworks/NN-libraries like TensorFlow/Keras, H2O, PyTorch and Caffe
Experience of using SQL. Any experience in non-SQL will be treated as a bonus
Experience of working on GIS projects is a must
Experience of working on data-visualization project using tools like PowerBI or any other GIS data visualization tool
Specialization in Computer Vision and/or NLP (dealing with unstructured text) would be an added advantage
Any experience in Data-Engineering and/or ML Engineering would be an advantage
Should have strong communication (story-telling) skills
Fluency in both English and Arabic would be a big bonus
Should be a self-starter and a team player
