Social Media Marketing Manager

Hi there, we're Hoek Home, an innovative D2C furniture brand located in Brooklyn, NY. We are a young seed round startup looking for an experienced growth marketeer to develop and execute our social media and marketing strategies. The person in this role should have previous experience developing and executing marketing strategies. The person should be comfortable filming and editing content to be used in the campaigns. The role is full-time, at our beautiful seaside workshop in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

You will be responsible for:

Grow our presence and create strong brand awareness on all social platforms with consistent and creative posting.

• Concept, execute and manage initiatives to drive growth.

• Edit content and post daily on all selected platforms.

• Develop automated email and/or SMS flows to activate prospects further down the funnel to sign-up.

• Identify and manage key partnerships and influencer collaborations.

• Identify external support partners (freelance/contract and or small agency) and manage their efforts to support concept growth initiatives. Partners may include those responsible for paid social, affiliate/influencer, SEO, AdWords, display, native etc.)

• Identify asset needs to drive growth initiatives and manage creative development process (with creative partners).

• Spearhead forward-looking exploration into new platforms and media formats to continue growth.

• Set measurable performance goals for all concept initiatives.

• Provide weekly strategic feedback and insights on performance and make recommendations for tweaks to approach.

• Collaborating with sales, manufacturing, and design team to ensure cohesive marketing.
