Job Designation: Image Processing Engineer
Responsibilities
Would be responsible for designing and implementing image processing algorithms for Camera Software. Competency in developing semantic analysis schemes for images through image interpretation, object tracking, object detection, computer vision related algorithms, face detection and recognition algorithms. The candidate must have fundamental image processing skills, which include Image representation, basic knowledge of Image filters etc. In addition, competency in Machine Learning and Deep learning skills is mandatory.

The candidate must have competency to start from very high-level requirements. Activities include literature survey, detailing out algorithmic metrics, designing and realizing algorithms. Candidate must have ability to implement new as well as existing algorithms.
The candidate is expected to interact with application engineers, electronics engineer and optical engineers, to ensure that algorithms realized are optimal for the specific system. Candidate must have the right attitude to work in a start-up environment and ability to work independently with minimum guidance.

Essential Qualifications
• Experience in developing image processing algorithms either in C or C++
• Knowledge of working with Machine Learning algorithms and Deep learning algorithms like object tracking, object detecting, image semantic analysis, image enhancement etc.
• Designing and implementing image processing algorithms. Understanding of how image and videos are represented and understanding of various image filters
• Knowledge of working with OpenCV
• Ability to perform literature survey and identify the most suitable algorithm for a given problem
• Ability to propose features, which can add value to the Product
• Strong coding and analytical skills
• Must have skills to develop algorithms optimized both for RAM and speed
• Willing to carry out development activities following essential development standards

Desirable Qualifications
• Working experience on algorithms for Surveillance Cameras
