WriteSome is a mobile application to write & discover original poetry & stories. User can write/ share their work and get/ receive feedback to other users. We are launching the app and our team is looking for interns to help build our brand and help us grow.

About the internship

This is an ideal internship for someone who wants to build startups and be a founder someday. And for people who want to join an early-stage startup and learn firsthand how startups are built. You will not only help us take the product to the market but also formulate strategies for brand building and growth in different markets

In this key role, you will work very closely with the founder and take the product to the masses. You will introduce the product to prospective users & market it in different territories and demographics. You will also take feedback from the users and help us make the product better.
You will help us build strategies early stage growth and brand building.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

✓ Engage potential users in conversations on Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit and Tumblr
✓ Introduce our product to the masses and help us grow
✓ Create or curate content for social media feed posts, blog posts, email campaigns and other forms of outreach
✓ Achieve weekly app sign-up targets
✓ Assist in Go-to-market strategy and brand establishment
✓ Take feedback from users and create feedback reports
✓ Create email campaigns and manage email sending
✓ Develop social media campaigns and manage account postings
✓ Assist in the creation of graphics and other creative assets on Canva
✓ Edit content with a close eye for detail and ideal messaging
✓ Use marketing tracking and analytics tools to provide reports on the website traffic, app downloads and user engagement

Qualifications/Experience ( Preferred but not mandatory )

✓ Students studying/ have studied marketing in college will be given preference
✓ Digital marketing experience is preferred but not mandatory
✓ Social media pages management experience - specifically Facebook &LinkedIn.
✓ Familiarity with Reddit and Tumblr are a big plus
✓ Understanding of entrepreneurial journey, startup marketing and knowledge of marketing hacks.
✓ Creativity to come up with new marketing hacks.
✓ Strong communication skills (written and verbal) ARE MUST
✓ Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills.
✓ Passion for creative writing
✓ Previous content marketing experience.
✓ Strong love of storytelling.
✓ Desirably a real-world experience and demonstrable examples of your work.

Other requirements:

✓ Prior work experience is a big plus
✓ Be able to give at least 2-3 hours of time everyday
✓ Start the internship between 15th Dec’20 and 30th Dec’20
✓ Are available for duration of 3 months
✓ Interest in Sales Operations, Strategy, Marketing or Consulting
✓ Strategic problem solving ability
✓ Held a leadership role at university and/or external associations
✓ Proficiency in English language is a must
