Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

What you'll be doing

Most of your day will be dedicated to software design, research, and coding. On typical projects, you will have a lot of freedom and you will be paired with another team member. Most of the time you'll be working directly with our tech lead and take technical decisions together.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with other engineers, product designers, and product managers to drive new features and applications from ideation to implementation to production.
• Develop clean user interfaces and reusable components.
• Optimize existing applications.
• Evaluating new frontend libraries and technologies to fit our needs.
• Building and maintaning custom cordova plugins in Java and Obj-C or Swift.
• Provide mentorship to other engineers on the team.
• Develop automation scripts for build and deployment processes.
• Participating in all aspects of software development- design, implementation, and deployment.
• Adding Deployment strategies, implementing CI/CD pipelines

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of experience working as a frontend engineer.
• Ability to write high-quality and scalable code.
• Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript and Typescript.
• Deep experience with alteast one modern web framework/library like angular, react, vue etc.
• Good experience working with low-level browser and DOM APIs.
• Good understanding of UI and UX.
• Good analytical & problem-solving skills.

What we would appreciate

• In-Depth Knowledge of Shadow DOM, CSS 4 and Sass.
• Experience with Ionic framework and Cordova.
• Understanding of testing frameworks like Chai, Mocha or Jest.
• Experience with Android app development using Java and iOS app development using Swift or Obj-C.
• Understanding of application bundler configurations like parcel, webpack, browserify etc.
• Knowledge of latest frontend technology trends.
• Zeal to solve difficult problems and a never giving up attitude.
• Strong passion for changing lives with technology.
