Full Stack Development Engineer

We are growing and growing fast. In order to set the team up for success we are looking for additional talent: Frontend, Backend, and Full Stack. There are multiple positions at various levels of experience available.

With the business experiencing rapid growth, we are expanding the existing teams and preparing to dive into new areas. We need people who can pair with existing engineers to learn our existing Ruby/React based applications and Python based services. This includes optimizing our existing applications into better user experiences with more automation, re-implementing functionality into separate services, and building new services and applications to support borrowers and banks.

How You Will Make An Impact:

• Driving the design and implementation of applications and/or services
• Providing great quality through high test coverage and detailed documentation
• Optimizing our existing applications into better user experiences
• Mentoring and elevating the impact of others- not just your team

Deliverables You Will Be Measured On:

• Consistently planning and delivering high-quality releases at least every 2 weeks according to plan, working in Ruby, React, and/or Python, and deployed on AWS
• Taking on and leading important and/or difficult technical projects
• Helping other team members through design and code reviews and feedback

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Design and development experience, with a desire to become an expert at Ruby and Python
• 3+ years experience Senior Level (5+ years Staff level)
• Knowledge of when to make trade-offs for short and long-term objectives
• Experience with Lucid Charts
• A passion for quality, reliability, security, and scalability
  
• A history of owning issues and driving them to completion
• Thrive with a high level of autonomy and ownership
