About the job
Our product managers create compelling experiences by defining and leading features, interfaces, and designs that set our solutions apart. They collaborate with a cross-functional team of product design, engineering, marketing and technology partners to prioritize the roadmap initiatives. To help the team as the subject matter expert, they continue to gather product requirements from customers, partners and industry data and document customer stories. From feature concept through to development and iterations, product managers have responsibility for the entire product life cycle of their products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Become the subject matter expert in live virtual experiences, e-commerce and live selling use cases
- Gather product requirements data from a wide range of sources - customers, analysts, partners, and internal users
- Observe SMB customers use of the product, identify where the user experiences friction and change cost and understand the workflow and process that is needed by the customer
- Document customer stories and work closely with product design team to outline solutions and make complex things simple
- As e-commerce product owner, you will collaborate with marketing, product design, technology partners, finance, and engineering teams to prioritize the roadmap initiatives and deliver award-winning experiences to our users.
- Help drive integration with key partners, and manage partnership ecosystems
- Lead roadmap and product reviews and obtain consensus around your ideas across all stakeholders
- For new products, features, and experiences, work with the product marketing to ensure the team’s creation is correctly launched to the world
- Utilize data to develop a deep understanding of our customers, competitors, and our changing landscape; working with the insights, operations, customer service, & growth teams to continuously improve your product through the full lifecycle process - from concept through to validation, build, post-launch analytics and iterations
- Drive product development by working in concert with the cross-functional teams
- Identify & execute key KPIs for measuring product and portfolio success
- Strive to go above and beyond the standard, ensuring both the release and ongoing quality control are of top quality
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of D2C and B2B product management experience, or equivalent product strategy and customer insights experience
- Strong domain knowledge in media rich products, e-commerce and social media platforms.
- Demonstrated success in defining and developing highly successful, software-based digital products that interact with e-commerce and social media platforms
- Experience creating and managing partnership ecosystems
- Experience leading the delivery of digital products, features, experiences which have a high degree of multi-team complexity and integration, and require strong cross-functional collaboration
- Demonstrated success initiating, driving development, shipping, and iterating on successful B2B and D2C products.
