MBA Business Development Intern - Winter/Spring 2022

White Fox Scooters is the first fully docked electric scooter company in the U.S., partnering with universities, private properties, and local governments. We are currently active in 3 cities in NJ (Jersey City, Hoboken, Weehawken) and 1 university and government partner (Oklahoma Baptist University and the downtown Shawnee, OK area). The company is led by our founder, Sidd Saxena, who has had prior experience in technology investment banking, ran multiple profitable businesses, and founded the YPO YNG Initiative in New York City.

Interns at White Fox Scooters will have the opportunity to make an impact in a way they never have before. Because of our small team, you will be able to interact and share ideas with all members, ask for feedback and develop yourself as much as you develop the organization.

Business Development interns are responsible for building new, and maintaining existing, White Fox’s professional relationships. You will be our point of contact for our potential partners, as well as a key figure in assisting marketing strategy. BD interns can also assist with investor relations.

Responsibilities:

> Identifying potential partnerships

> Opening and maintaining communications with potential partners on the phone and via email.

> Participating in marketing strategy with the Business Lead and Business Development team.

> Assisting with fundraising when needed

Requirements:

> Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, or graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field within the last 6 months

> Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite

> Strong attention to detail

> Creative problem-solving skills

> Strong partner/customer interaction skills

> Competence in research skills

> Strong written and oral communication skills in English

This internship position is part-time for a 3 month period. This is an unpaid internship position, however, we can offer college credit. Interns must be available a minimum of 20 hours/week.
