Hardware Engineer, PCB design

We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join the team. In this role you will be responsible for primarily designing and testing Printed Circuit Boards using our Custom ICs as well as commercially available components.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus in Circuit Design, or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience designing circuit solutions for consumer electronics
• Experience with board design, board bring-up, firmware development
• Hands on experience with package PCB Housing/ Package design is a plus

*Preferred qualifications: *

• Experience using Circuit Testing equipment (e.g., Oscilloscope, Signal generators, DC sources)
• Knowledge of Circuit Design software tools (e.g., Advanced Design System (ADS), LT Spice etc.)
• Excellent board-level and firmware debug skills
• Experience using PCB design software (Eagle, Altium Designer)
• Knowledge of test automation, using scripting languages (e.g., Python and LabVIEW)
• Knowledge of different wireless communication circuits is a plus
• Outstanding communication and documentation skills

We are a fabless system-on-chip product company, on a mission to develop a wearable electronic brain with input from distributed sensors like camera, microphones, body monitors etc.

This position is those either based in or frequently commuting to our office in West Lafayette, Indiana.
