The Role

We are a national staffing/labour-hire agency, specialising in events & marketing. We have been established for nearly 12 years and while still a small business, we experience considerable growth year after year. Our work force consists of 500+ casual employees that we manage nationally. We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to work with us on-going to help manage our current client portfolio.

About the Role:

  • Option 1 - Full-time, pick the 5 days most suited to you (except Sunday), 9:00am-5:00pm ish (hours can be flexible)
  • Option 2 – Full-time, work a 38 hour week over the 4 days most suited to you.
  • Option 3 – Part-time, work 30 hours over the 4-5 days most suited to you.
  • The role would be based remotely from either Sydney or Melbourne, however you would have the option to work from a co-working space if you choose
  • You would also need to attend client meetings/site visits where required which could be anywhere in your city.
  • There is flexibility within the position regarding all the above, to some extent.
  • The start date of the role is flexible as we are looking for the right person for the role.

As an Account Manager you will:

  • Provide account management services to our new & existing clients from enquiry through to job completion.
  • Provide project management services to all clients to get each job from start to completion.
  • Build professional relationships with each client you manage
  • Work closely with the National Staffing Manager and Recruitment Coordinator to ensure staffing resources are available to complete the job.
  • Train casual staff on client briefs.
  • Attend jobs to check on progress and ensure high standards are met.
  • Complete ad-hoc duties and general admin that come with the general nature of the role.
  • Drive process changes and improving business efficiency in all areas of account management.

About You:

  • You come from a background in Account Management, Project Management, Staffing, Marketing or Events
  • At least 2 years experience in an account management role
  • Prior experience in project management or producing
  • Intermediate-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook & Google Docs
  • Extremely self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
  • Extremely organised & efficient
  • Positive work ethic with a can-do attitude
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous demonstrated experience working remotely
  • Must be tech savvy and able to learn new software
  • Out-going personality and ability to build professional relationships with clients
  • Process driven
  • Willing to get your hands dirty

Reporting
You will report to the Managing Director and you will be required to hit the ground running, take charge of the role and make it your own.
