Overview:
We’re looking for a talented account manager to join our team. As an account manager, you will work closely with clients to understand their business and objectives, offer creative and strategic input to propose ideas and solutions, and then work with our internal teams to oversee and deliver projects and deliverables on time, within budget, and within scope.
Responsibilities:
Assist team in the project intake process by helping to create a statement of work (SOW), inclusive of project deliverables, actual estimated timeline & costs, and client responsibilities. Implement an internal planning framework for projects, inclusive of a creative/project brief, key objectives, specifications, etc, and work with the team to select appropriate freelance resources. Meet regularly with clients to review project progress and field any additional requests or changes. Maintain project timelines/milestones, identify milestone dependencies, communicate milestones to internal/external team members, and adjust timelines as-necessary. Coordinate/facilitate the actual progress of milestones with internal/external team members, providing administrative support, and logistical support when needed. Facilitate review of deliverables, at different project phases as-needed, with internal team, and external (client) stakeholders. Communicate feedback and next steps to relevant parties as-needed. Track the overall progress of projects and communicate to internal/external parties as-needed. Maintain adequate records of project progress, communication with external parties, actual project costs, etc. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. Perform other related duties as assigned. Furthermore, an effective candidate will make an effort in the following:
Continually develop an understanding of core marketing, branding, and creative principles, and related best practices. Actively seek information at times of ambiguity, and have a sufficient knowledge of resources for information, in addition to team members. Continually develop understanding/proficiency in the several software tools employed on a day to day basis. Identify improvement opportunities in processes and QA procedures, and long-term opportunities for creating a higher standard of service and output. Stay up to date on marketing, technology, and creative trends. Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills. Strong computer literacy and above average overall technical proficiency. Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience. Other Relevant Qualifications - preferential consideration given to candidates with experience or an understanding of one or more of the following:
High level understanding of digital marketing disciplines, advertising, and/or creative processes. Adobe Creative Cloud Familiarity with popular CMS and ecommerce platforms (Wordpress, Shopify, etc.) Experience with website analytics and marketing automation tools Project management software, such as Asana, Accelo, Jira, etc.
