We are seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to be a key contributor to the team and will be instrumental in building, deploying, maintaining, and automating our software development pipeline from source control to production. They will work closely with our software development, IT Infrastructure, and Information Security teams to select the right tools and processes through the Dev, QA, Staging, and Production environments to ensure that our code is delivering all defined functional and compliance requirements associated with each release in an efficient andsustainable methodology.

What You'll Do as a Senior DevOps Engineer:

  • Administer, monitor, and deploy large scale systems and service solutions on cloud preferably AWS.
  • Provide solutions, automation, and tooling for multiple platform service teams.
  • Work closely with development teams on platform architecture to accelerate delivery of our solutions.
  • Automate the creation, maintenance, and monitoring of a variety of production and test environments.
  • Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning.
  • Handle code deployments in all environments.
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines making use of Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and other tools as required.
  • Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve.
  • The job includes other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of AWS and AWSCLI including: K8s, Lambda, IAM, EC2, VPC, EKS, ELK, SNS, SQS, S3, Elasticache, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, Container Service, Redshift
  • Experience in Docker and Kubernetes
  • Significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments
  • Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools
  • Familiarity with agile software development in Python, Nodejs, Reactjs.
  • Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Experience working with minimum supervision and handling multiple projects simultaneously involving various teams/locations.
  • Familiarity with relation databases like MS SQL, Postgres or MySQL.
  • Experience working in an Agile, fast-paced, DevOps environment.
  • Proficient with workflows and in leveraging CI and CD tools to automate testing and deployment.
  • Strong team player and works well within a diverse, cross-functional team.
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with little to no supervision.
  • Highly Adaptive and flexible to change.
  • Establish DevOps engineer best practices.
  • Stay current with industry advancements and adoption into the organization.

Education:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field.

Work Environment:

This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and standard office supplies. While working in the office, the setting is a standard office environment with low to moderate noise levels and temperature controlled.
