What You'll be doing:

• Concepting, creating and building websites and applications alongside our UX/UI, Product, Data Architecture, DevOps teams.
• Designing user-based interactions through effective front-end architecture framework.
• Developing and designing RESTful services and APIs.
• Coding for various platforms to ensure functionality across multiple channels.
• Troubleshooting issues and problem solving as necessary.
• Working through the software development lifecycle (SDLC) through UAT and Go-Live.
• The job includes other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Required:

• 4+ years’ experience in working with languages such as Go, Java, Python, PHP, or Ruby.
• 4+ years’ experience working with cloud environments - AWS, GCP, Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, PHP, and MySQL/Postgres, with working understanding of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Express.js, Oracle, React, Ember or Node.js.
• Experience with JS-based tools including Bower, Grunt and Gulp.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues.
• Ability to project manage.
• Demonstrate strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to self-motivate and meet deadlines.

Education:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field.

Work Environment

This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and standard office supplies. While working in the office, the setting is a standard office environment with low to moderate noise levels and temperature controlled.

Employee is required to sit at desk for majority of the workday with occasional standing and walking within office environment.
