Test Automation Engineer

TransferChain is looking for promising and bright engineers to help change the world of privacy and security. Engineers for this role shall be working in a team setting to build applications on our blockchain based decentralized cloud. This person should be excited to adapt to new technologies and incorporate those into ongoing work. This is a full time software Test Automation Engineer position, and we are looking for inspired builders who can help us advance our ambitious vision and grow with the company.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate various test automation activities from small to large scale projects
• Create well-structured tests to identify software problems
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Develop test cases / test scenarios from requirements and design documents and ensure maximum
• requirement traceability
• Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Learn new technologies and apply to projects as needed

Experience Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, working with high traffic applications
• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with automated testing tools especially Selenium
• Excellent understanding of test automation frameworks
• Knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience with Jira or similar tools
• Knowledge of cloud environments, particularly AWS, Azure and Gcloud is a plus
• Understanding of Java, Python, SQL, Go is a plus.
• Experience on blockchain technologies is a plus
